At an amazing spa venue, complete with indoor pool and Hammam, you’ll be spoilt with rejuvenating yoga and naturally wholesome food, in the midst of the beautiful Cotswold countryside.

The yoga will be led by leading London yoga teacher Gemma Soul and the deliciously healthy meals will be provided by Ariana Gernet, owner and founder of the artisan food brand LiEBES.

Gemma will guide you through this truly invigorating retreat, refreshing your mind, body and soul with two yoga sessions a day. To nourish your body, Ariana will prepare a delicious food experience – daily breakfast, lunch and a 3-course dinner – with the very best, local ingredients.

The beautiful Kingham cottages and fabulous facilities within the grounds – including five acres of landscaped gardens, a tennis court and an indoor heated swimming pool complex with traditional Turkish Hammam – will allow you to do as much or as little as you wish.

Venue

Located in the heart of Kingham, a quintessential English village (voted England’s favorite!) 90 minutes from central London by car or train. There are three unique cottages in traditional Cotswolds style with timeless interiors and all the modern-day conveniences to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The twin or double bedrooms are all beautifully furnished, most of them ensuite or with separate bathrooms. The cottages also benefit from open plan living areas, flagstone floors, open fireplaces and decorated with ‘arts and crafts’ period furniture. Another highlight includes Daylesford Organic’s farm shop and café only a 20-minute walk away.

Schedule

The retreat will start at 6pm on Friday 5th May and finish 10am Monday 8th May.

Yoga with Gemma will take place in the tranquil Sequoia room, whilst overlooking the beautiful pool. There will be a welcome class on arrival, two classes on Saturday and Sunday and a farewell class Monday morning.

During the weekend, Gemma will lead you through a 90 minute dynamic vinyasa flow every morning, the beginning of May is the perfect opportunity to put a spring back in our steps, so be prepared to sweat in a nourishing and cleansing practice. Every afternoon will be a 90 minute slower practice varying between yin yoga, restorative yoga, meditation and yoga nidra which will totally compliment your time around the pool, or in the hamman and getting fresh air in the surrounding beautiful countryside. Workshop and/or asana blitz question time available for those wanting to truly understand a deeper dimension in their practice.

: A non-refundable deposit of £150 is required to confirm your place. The balance is due no less than 6 weeks prior to the event. Bookings made less than 6 weeks prior to the event must be paid in full.

About Gemma

Whilst training at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, Gemma found her passion for Yoga and all things movement based.  When living in Sydney and after a few years in the Acting profession, Gemma found Sukha Mukha Yoga – and her wonderful teacher Idit Hefer Tamir – where she realized her dream of becoming a yoga teacher. Gemma has since studied with many other great Teachers, completing her advanced Yoga training with Jasmine Tarkeshi and Emily Stone from The Laughing Lotus in the US, teaches for Yoga on the Lane, The Life Centre, Psycle and recently became a Yoga ambassador for Sweaty Betty. Gemma loves to teach from the heart and really encourages the exploration of all aspects of Yoga. Incorporating all her skills in her teaching, you’ll find Gemma’s classes creative, inspiring, with the odd story along the way. She teaches a range of alignment based Hatha Vinyasa, along with Yin, Mediation and Restorative yoga. Her classes offer a safe space for release and transformation no matter what stage you are in your journey with yoga.
