Turmeric Bircher Muesli

We’re huge fans of turmeric, particularly the delicious organic turmeric from our friends at Wunder Workshop. We’re always experimenting with the spice in the kitchen and it is a key ingredient of our Turmeric and Orange Buckinola.

Tumeric, which has powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties, also makes a distinctive, delicious addition to Bircher muesli, offering a simple way to add a healthy twist to your breakfast bowl. It’ll also brighten up your breakfast table!



Makes 2 portions

  • 100g oats (gluten-free if intolerant)
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 20g chopped almonds
  • 20g desiccated coconut
  • 100g apple puree (unsweetened!)
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric (we love Wunderworkshop)
  • pinch ground ginger
  • pinch ground cardamom
  • pinch ground cinnamon
  • 400ml almond milk (unsweetened)


Mix together and stir all of the ingredients. Leave to soak, in the fridge, overnight or for at least 6 hours. Serve and enjoy!
