No matter how prepared we are the night before, mornings always away seem to be a bit of a rush.This recipe for our Vanilla Hazelnut Protein Bars is a great solution to morning busyness, providing a quick and convenient way to squeeze in breakfast. With added protein, the bars are also perfect as a healthy, post-workout snack.
The bars are free from dairy and sugars and raw, with no baking required. Natural sweetness is provided by the vanilla and hazelnut butter.Have a go yourself and let us know what you think in the comments below.

- 100g natural vanilla whey, pea or hemp protein
- 60ml water, or as needed
- 50g hazelnut butter, warmed
- 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
Instructions (nice and simple!)
Mix protein powder and water until you have a smooth texture.
Warm up the hazelnut butter slightly in a water bath or microwave and mix in with the protein powder and vanilla powder.
Mix everything together with your hands.
Place the dough on a sheet of parchment, in the shape of a rectangle.
Place in the refrigerator for an hour, or so, to firm it up before cutting into slices.
