This simple smoothie is nutritious, yet delicious, with added protein to give a boost to your breakfast. For the protein powder, we have used a sachet MissFits Vanilla Multitasker – a personal favourite of ours – which is naturally flavoured without added sugar.
Enjoy topped with a spoonful of almond butter, or a sprinkling our very own Turmeric & Orange Buckinola.
- 1/4 cup gluten-free oats
- 2 tablespoons almonds
- 1 cup water
- 1 ripe banana, peeled
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
- 1 sachet MissFits Vanilla Multitasker
- Pinch ground cinnamon
- 1 medjool date, pitted (optional for added sweetness)
- LiEBES Turmeric & Orange Buckinola
- Pip & Nut Coconut Almond Butter
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend for 1 minute or until completely smooth and creamy. Taste and if you’d like a bit more sweetness, add the pitted date and blend for another minute or until incorporated.
Fill into a glass or bowl and top with nut butter and Buckinola. Enjoy!
